New Leader Induction

Boston Public Schools is committed to providing professional development for principals new to the district that consists of face-to-face sessions and mentoring. The monthly face-to-face professional development sessions are designed to provide new leaders with 'just-in time' information and resources relevant to the instructional leadership and operation of their schools. School leaders with 2 years or less of experience in Boston Public Schools participate in the mentoring program and have an assigned mentor. Through this systematic approach, it is our goal to ensure the success of our leaders.
