Starting on Monday, April 26, Horace Mann students who selected in-person learning will begin 5 days of in-person learning for the rest of the school year. Students who selected remote learning will continue 5 days of remote classes for the rest of the school year.

To clarify, starting on April 26, the hybrid model will not longer be available for BPS students, including HMS students. Please note, that when students in an in-person learning model are absent, they will be marked absent for the day. It will be an excused absence, if they bring a note to school, or unexcused absence, if they do not ring a note.

At this time, we re unable to offer remote programming to in-person learning students who miss school except for extenuating circumstances, such as COVID-19 related illness. Please always communicate with your child's teacher or program director when your child is absent, so a support plan can be put in place for a student in an approved long term absence.
