Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, for all grades, Kindergarten - 8th grade, students will learn virutally (or in person for Hybrid Students) during a 55 minute PE class. In addtion, all materials and assignments for Physical Education will be posted in your student’s class/ grade level in a Google Classroom. Resources will be continuously updated to provide meaningful movement opportunities that progress students toward health and physical education.
The goal of the Physical Education department is to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthy physical activity.
The physical education program at the Hennigan provides students with a planned, sequential, K-12 standards-based program of curricula and instruction designed to develop motor skills, knowledge and behaviors for active living, physical fitness, sportsmanship, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence.
Physical Education is taught by trained skills based educators Ms. Dultz and Mr. Howes.
