About our school

The Edward Everett Elementary School is a two-strand K0 to Grade 6 school located on Pleasant Street in the Columbia/Jones Hill area of Dorchester. Surrounded by ornamental cherry and oak trees, vegetable beds, native plants, a hand-made wrought-iron fence, and decorated with student-created tile mosaics and plaques honoring leaders and students of the past, the Everett has been an urban oasis and a focal point for its neighborhood for over 100 years.
