BLS Science has a budget funded by the BLSA to help students purchase lab supplies (chemicals or biologics that can only be delivered to a school). We can also print your poster for the Citywide Fair. Please see Ms. Bateman for specific requests. 

Awards  

Mayo Brothers Prize for Science Research (William Mayo ’67 and Brian Mayo ’74)

Annually, BLS Science awards a cash prize to the science fair participant whose science project best exemplifies the Mayo brother's commitment to creativity, innovation and thinking outside the box. Student applicants can be in grade levels 7-12 and the award is contingent upon entering the Boston Public Schools Citywide Regional Fair. The winner will be chosen by a science faculty review of the applications.  The recipient will be celebrated and awarded the prized in front of their peers.
