THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL?
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
BPS Adult Education offers classes in the morning, evening and online courses from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a 16-course program specialized for students who have credits to transfer from their previous high school and are close to graduation. You must have completed school through grade 8 or be at least 16 to join this program.
All students must obtain a passing score on the MCAS in Mathematics, English Language Arts, and Science to graduate.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
You must complete assessments in math, reading, and writing in order to place you in the appropriate classes.
We will contact you to schedule your assessment appointment once we receive your enrollment form.
As part of the application, we will need to review your transcripts. We will need non-Boston Public School students to send us an official copy of their transcripts.

ENGLISH CLASSES
Adult Education, Boston Public Schools provides English language instruction to students who want to study English. These classes are in the morning or evening.
This video will provide you with detailed information about the English as a Second Language Program.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Morning classes: Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Evening classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
