About the Author
Katelyn Le currently attends Boston Latin School as a senior and will be pursuing a career in architecture at Syrcuse University. She joined Boston Latin School in 2019 where she has studied cello, Latin, Mandarin and visual arts. She has participated in the Boston Architectural College Urban Planning Fellowship and Summer Academy. She worked two years at Sasaki Foundation's Summer Exploratory Experience in Design. There, she worked with professionals at Sasaki to produce a winning design for the Isenburg Projects World Trade Center: Kiosk Competition. She also collaborated to design a community food forest in Mattapan requested by the Boston Food Forest Coalition. Through this Capstone project, she hopes to continue working with architects and the community to produce a design tailored to improving the lives of Boston Chinatown's elderly.
