About the Author

Vinh Tran, a student at Boston Latin School’s Class of 2025, is passionate about addressing the challenges faced by under-resourced public schools. Motivated by firsthand experiences of the disadvantages that limited resources have on students, he is determined to create solutions by combining his interests in technology and education. His commitment to this led him to research the impact of low-income families and its influence on students' academic achievement, eventually leading him to develop an open-source hybrid tutoring application designed to support students' learning needs. Outside of his academic pursuits, Vinh enjoys relaxing with a slice of pizza and a good movie, finding balance and leisure during his breaks.
