Reengagement

Reengagement supports at Boston Green Academy focus on empowering students to complete their education in a meaningful and timely manner. Attendance, academic tutoring, recovery of failed classes, and evening/summer school are all part of a comprehensive reengagement support strategy.

Since Boston Green Academy has more rigorous graduation requirements than other district schools, students who continue to struggle after receiving intensive supports might chose to transfer to an alternative program. BGA staff work with students, families and the BPS Reengagement Center to identify opportunities that will lead to academic success and graduation from high school.
