  • Key Vocabulary/Grammar:
    • Key Vocabulary: Each day students are introduced a vocabulary word - determine the meaning and connection to the text.
    • 8 Parts of Speech: Each day students will focus on improving their understanding of grammar and how to push their writing using stronger adjectives and adverbs through complex sentences using conjunctions.
    • Appositives: Using noun phrases to define the topic in a sentence - how to elaborate on topics with descriptive details!
    • Figures of Speech
    • Poetic Devices
