Señor Brown's Class

In the Fall I teach Español 1, and in the Spring Español 2, which allows students to complete their Spanish requirements in one year. Spanish 1 focuses on learning new vocabulary and the basic grammar of the Spanish language. The present tense is the primary tense used in Spanish 1. Students will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I will provide multiple ways for students to study what they need to learn, including handouts, flashcards, and links to online practice activities. I expect students to collaborate and cooperate (with me and other students) in their learning. Spanish 2 focuses on 1) different verb tenses, and 2) using Spanish more in context through reading books and watching videos. As with life, what students get out of my class depends on what they put into my class.
