Welcome to a brand-new school year! As I enter my ninth year in education—and my fifth year at Haughton High School—I am thrilled to be teaching 9th Grade English I and Pre-AP English I. My teaching journey also includes three wonderful years at Greenacres Middle School and a year at Benton Intermediate, all of which prepared me to help ninth graders navigate this exciting high school transition. In my classroom, my goal is to build a welcoming, challenging, and supportive space where every student can grow their reading and writing skills and build real confidence.

Outside the classroom, you can usually find me on the field serving as Haughton’s Head Softball Coach! At home, I am happily married and a proud dog parent to our two energetic pups, Harley and Dexter. I am genuinely excited about everything this upcoming school year has in store, and I look forward to partnering with students and families to make it our best year yet.
