My Family

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Sean, for 25 years. I have one son named Cash and he is a Senior at Haughton High School this year. We have 2 dogs: Daisy is my Yellow Lab and Maverick is my Black Lab.

Education

• I graduated from Southwood High School in 1994. 

• I graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1999.

• I received my National Boards Certification in 2007 and re-certified in 2017.

• I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 2011.

• I am starting my +30 college courses this year at ULM.

My Hobbies

• Spending time with my family and dogs, especially on the patio!

• Reading...I prefer a real book, but I use the Audible and Kindle apps too!

• Shopping online

• Beaching, camping, hiking, and fishing

• I love a good campfire in the Fall

• Friday night lights: HHS Football

• I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana.

• I was born during the Bicentennial year. (1976)

• I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

• I wanted to be a nurse when I started college.

• I was selected as Teacher of the Year in both Caddo and Bossier Parish Schools.

• I was selected as LATM’s Elementary Math Teacher of the Year in 2007.

• I love to watch the Blue Angels perform, especially at Pensacola BEACH.
