All About Me

My name is Mindy Brown. This is my seventeenth year teaching and my eleventh year at Haughton Middle School! I am originally from Haughton and a proud HHS graduate. My husband and I lived in Dallas for ten years after graduating from NLU (now ULM) but decided to move back to Louisiana to raise our two children. Both of them will be here with us at HMS this year, John-Hudson is an eighth grader and Ali is now in sixth.

Because of my background and experience in the veterinary industry, Life Science is my absolute favorite section of science! I can't wait to get to know my students and open their eyes to how much fun science can be.
