My name is Yolanda Garcia. I am a mother of 3 children; two boys that attend college,  a six year old daughter, and I have been married for 20 years to my amazing husband. I enjoy spending time with my family and am very dedicated to my career as a teacher. I am Mexican-American; born and raised in Bossier City, and spent my summers in Mexico. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in my native language ( Spanish). I enjoy sharing my culture and language with my students. I attended Plantation Park, Rusheon Middle School, and Graduated from Bossier High School. I furthered my education and received an Associate's Degree from BPCC and my Bachelor's Degree in Education from ULM. This is my 10th year teaching Kindergarten at Sun City Elementary. My children attended Sun City Elementary and have grown up in South Bossier.
