The purpose of the Haughton Middle School Cheerleaders shall be to serve the school by promoting school spirit and serving in any capacity that might reflect a positive image of our school. The cheerleaders & mascots help boost the morale of all Haughton Buccaneers.  Character, leadership, individual responsibility, sportsmanship, & scholarship will be developed in each member while maintaining high moral standards. It is the purpose of the Cheerleaders to represent Haughton Middle School in a manner that will reflect credit upon the school.  Bucky, the school mascot, also follows the HMS Cheer Constitution.
