Welcome to Haughton High School's Junior Varsity Cheer Page!
We are gearing up for a new school year that will be upon us before we know it. I am EXCITED about welcoming a new group to help us CHEER on the Haughton BUCS!
With JV cheer being new this year here are a few changes from the past years. We will be cheering at JV/freshman football home games, and home varsity games. JV cheer is required to try out for Varsity Cheer. There is no longer a required year of a spirit group to try out for the Highsteppers (contact aundrea.weinreber@bossierschools.org if interested in their tryout information). JV cheer will have practices once a week, we will work on motions, stunting and sideline etiquette.
If you are interested in being a member of the HHS JV Cheer - please read the information below carefully and make sure to note deadlines. You will see the constitution, a link to the application, and a visual of our uniform pieces along with the cost for the 2026-2027 school year.
