Hello! My name is Gail Rittenberry and I am the Instructional Coach at Rusheon Middle School. I am the proud mother of Marie Rittenberry, who graduated from Parkway High School in 2014 and is about to graduate from LSU-Shreveport. I have worked for the Bossier Parish School Board since 1998. I began my career as a secretary at the Central Office. With the encouragement of my supervisors and family, I decided to return to college while working full time and graduated from LSU-Shreveport with my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. I began teaching in 2005 at Parkway High School in a sabbatical position and ended up at Elm Grove Middle School where I taught Louisiana Studies for seven years and World Geography for one year. I earned my Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix in 2012. I was afforded the opportunity to become the Instructional Coach at Rusheon Middle School in 2014. I am currently enrolled in the Public Administration Doctoral program at Liberty University. I have enjoyed my time working with my Rusheon family and am looking forward to another great year with the wonderful faculty and students!
