What is Mathcounts?
Mathcounts is a club specifically designed for those students who like numbers, like challenging math problems that require you to think outside the box and think that working these type of problems is fun. The club meets one time a week for about an hour (September to February). These meetings prepare the students to compete at various levels against students from other middle schools. The club will compete in several local meets and possibly one out of Parish meet that will require students to miss a day of school. So if you are the kind of student that isn't scared off by words like Pi, Coefficient or Transversal, then this may be the club for you.
