Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS)

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Support. This is a proactive approach to establish the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students at Curtis to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. PBIS is a way for schools to encourage positive behavior, improve important academic outcomes and school safety.

Let’s Talk about CLASS DOJO:

We will be using Class Dojo School-Wide to give both Positive points & negative marks and you will be able to see both positive and negative marks. This will be a great way to communicate with your child's teacher, share messages, updates, and photos from your child's class. It is a simple and easy way to see how your child is doing at school everyday. Please feel free to ask your child's teacher how to join and sign up.

Throughout the year students will be able to redeem their DOJO points for a variety of incentives. At the end of the year, all students with 95% or higher DOJO each nine-week period will be rewarded with a mystery field trip in May.
