Cope Middle School Counselors

About Us

Carrie Fontaine

Hello COUGARS! I am excited to be a part of CMS as your 6th grade (A-L) & 8th grade counselor. I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. I taught grades 1-8th for 15 years before changing roles to school counselor. I received my undergraduate degree in Education from NSU, my masters degree in School Counseling from LATECH, and am currently working on my +30 in Education Leadership.  I have been married for 16 years, and have two children. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, and traveling. I am super excited to work with all of our new and old COUGARS!

Paula Taylor

I am thrilled to be the 6th (M-Z) & 7th Grade counselor this year! I look forward to helping our Cope students with SEL and academic needs. I love all sports (especially LSU)! I also enjoy spending time with family, friends, and  grand dogs "Booker" and "Birdie"

Communication

Counseling Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a great way to check in with each and every student at Cope.  This is the perfect resource to use to get to know our students and for our students to get to know us. We always enjoy reading their responses! They are great conversation pieces! Please feel free to join and be a part of our google classroom!
