A/B School Schedule for AHS Students

Explanation

Because the state of Louisiana is in Phase II, Airline High School will adopt and adapt to the state and parish recommendations and policies. Bossier Parish and Airline High School will have a modified schedule with a hybrid learning schedule.

District Leadership communicated expectations: ALL laws and legislation governing Public School Education are soundly in place.

Expectations for students:

  • Learn new lesson/skill every day.

  • Attend each day either the virtual classroom or the physical classroom based on the designated schedule by last name, e.g., Group A (last name A-K) or Group B (last name L-Z).

  • Expect to engage in classroom activities/discussion daily (either through virtual means or in-class discussions).

  • Participate daily to achieve attendance requirements; this could be a simple question, a short formative assessment, exit ticket, Google form.

  • Students must attend their traditional classroom or their virtual classroom each day according to their assigned schedule.

  • Students will have traditional formative assessments daily. This means grades will be given to teacher assigned projects, (virtual or in class) assignments, tests, quizzes, etc. Teachers will assess student learning on a daily basis.
