Our children are constantly emerged and engaged in a digital environment making them a generation of digital natives. They were born into a world where new technology is readily customizable and available which is also how they want their education . As we watch the world constantly advance, they are the ones setting new trends and deciding the future.

We want the students of BISD to be able to compete for the best 21st century jobs and to be prepared for college or career experiences, confidently knowing that they can succeed in the ever changing digital workplace.

The 1:1 initiative is more than just issuing our students chromebooks: it’s about the way our students learn and our teachers teach. We see the Chromebooks as educational tools that address each students’ personal learning style, allowing our students to experience a learning environment that meets their individual needs.
