To Our Amazing PTO and PTA Leaders and Our Generous Families,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Because of your efforts and support, we are feeding 59 families this year!
The pictures don't do it justice - we've never been able to offer this much food assistance. Each bag has 10 cans of soup/vegetables so our families will also get 1-2 bags. The turkeys, bread, pies and 270 cooked meals will be added before delivery. We've done a great job!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Counselor's Corner and Nurse News
Dear CBS Families,
As we approach a season when many of us will be gathering together, I’d like to gently remind everyone to practice healthy habits. Good hand hygiene, healthy food choices when possible, adequate sleep, some time outside regularly, routine cleaning—especially of commonly touched surfaces like door handles—and staying home when feeling unwell can all help reduce the spread of illnesses such as COVID-19, influenza, RSV, and bacterial infections like Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
When spending time in group settings, please ensure that the space is well-ventilated to further limit the risk of infection. Please discuss with your child’s and your own health care provider whether there are any recommended immunizations that could help prevent illnesses at this time of year.
Here’s to your good health all winter long!
Warmly,
Anna Maria Sheehan, RN
School Nurse
Ariell Tucker
Ms. Silva’s Class
Ariell is being nominated for Student of the Month because she is a dedicated and enthusiastic learner who always puts forth her best effort. She comes to class ready to learn, and stays engaged in every lesson, whether it’s reading, writing, math, or science. Ariell listens carefully, asks thoughtful questions, and shares creative ideas that help her classmates think in new ways. Her positive attitude and excitement for learning make her a wonderful role model for everyone around her.
Since the beginning of the year, Ariell has shown incredible growth. She works hard every day to improve her skills, and her dedication really shows in her writing. Ariell is a phenomenal writer who fills her stories and writing responses with expressive details that bring her ideas to life. Her writing makes readers feel like they are part of her stories! Ariell truly deserves to be Student of the Month!
Giavanna Galati
Ms. Planas/Evan’s Class
Giavanna comes to school every day with a smile and a positive attitude. She works hard in class and contributes to classroom activities and discussions. Giavanna is kind to her classmates. She is always willing to help and encourage her peers, and is very patient in her interactions with others. Giavanna is a leader and a friend, and we are lucky to have her in our class!
