Dear Clara Barton Families,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year.  We are excited to see all our previous families and meet our new CBS families.  We can't wait to see our CBS stars shine brightly this year!

Getting Started News:

1.  Meet and Greet- on Wednesday, Sept. 2, we invite you to our open house between 9-10:00 AM.  Come take a stroll through your new halls, meet your teacher, see your friends and drop off any beginning fo the year materials.

2. First Day 2026- the first day for students is Thursday, September 3.  School starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.

3. Back to School Night- On Tuesday, September 8, you are invited to CBS Back to School Night.  Events will start at 6:30 in the CBS APR.  Parents will then visit teacher classes starting at 7 PM.

4.  Therapy Dog- we are excited to welcome back Shaggy, our CBS therapy dog!  He visits once a week.  Every student is invited to interact, but participation is not required.  Therapy Dog Permission (please click and read)

5.   Breakfast/ Lunch/ Snack-  money for breakfast can be added to your student lunch account online.  If you want to limit their "purchasing power" please make a note in their online account.  Well labeled money (child name and teacher) and notes can also be sent to school and will be added to the online account.

Please see below regarding 2026/27 Free & Reduced Meals information.  A new paper application is required each school year. Important: All applications must be submitted to your child’s school for processing. Only one application is needed per family.
