‼️Testing, Testing... 3, 3, 3‼️
This spring our 3rd graders will participate in their first state assessment, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA-A) on May 11-15th. On time arrival and attendance during these days is CRITICAL whereas testing will start first thing in the morning, without interruption for lateness. Students that are not in the testing session will have to make up tests at a later date. More information will be coming over the next month.

Josie Campo
Mrs. Bogg’s Class
It is my honor to nominate Josie Campo as Student of the Month. Josie is a role model for our second graders. She is kind, friendly, and hard working. Throughout the day, you will see Josie putting her full effort into her schoolwork. It is clear that she always wants to do her best.
Josie is a wonderful friend. She treats others with respect by taking turns and being a good listener. Josie makes good choices everyday. She is trustworthy and responsible. These are a few of the many reasons why Josie Campo is our Student of the Month!
Aria Hawkins
Ms. Daniels’ Class
Aria is a wonderful member of our third grade class! She was new to our school this year, but you would never know it because she made friends quickly and easily. Aria has an outgoing and fun personality that makes people feel happy to be around her.
Every morning, Aria walks into the classroom with a big smile on her face and a story ready to share. She brings positive energy to our class and helps make our classroom a cheerful place to learn.
Aria is also a very hardworking student. When something is difficult, she doesn’t give up or get upset. Instead, she asks for help and says things like, “Please explain this to me again—I really want to understand!” She keeps trying, practicing, and learning until she gets it right. That kind of determination is something we can all admire!
Aria loves to write and enjoys sharing her writing with others. She has grown so much as a writer this year, and it has been wonderful to see her ideas come to life on paper.
Sometimes Aria can be silly and make us laugh, and other times she is serious and focused on her work. No matter what, she is always kind, determined, and ready to learn.
We are so lucky to have Aria in our class. She reminds us that when you work hard, stay positive, and keep trying, you can do amazing things!
Ms. Sakowski colors our world brightly with her positive energy and smile. She brings out the creativity in all our students. She is always looking for creative solutions and always pitches in to support all students, staff and administration. Keep shining, Ms. Sakowski!
