MIDDLE SCHOOL VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS

Our 8th graders took a 3 day #virtualdc2020 trip to Washington DC! Day 1 is included below aspects of Day 2 and Day 3 can be viewed by clicking the links. Students enjoyed the full itinerary as they would have and even had the chance to have a live Q&A with Tony nominated Broadway star Christopher Siebert. Feel free to tour DC as our 8th graders did using the links below. Our 7th graders took a trip to Philadelphia to explore the historic city as well as visit the Franklin Institute. Students even got the opportunity to visit Readington Terminal market and all of the delicious food options there! Our 6th grade students toured Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. They left JHS, hopped on a ferry and were there! Students also got to participate in a Webquest. Thank you to our students for being such great sports and participating in the opportunity and thank you to our teachers who put the trips together! We hope you explored a little, learned a lot, and had fun! While we would have loved to travel together in person, we enjoyed traveling with you virtually!

3rd GRADE VIRTUALLY EXPLORES THE ZOO!

In keeping with tradition, our 3rd grade students recently explored the Bronx Zoo - albeit virtually this year! As part of the experience, students observed live cams, crafted reflections of what they witnessed, created "zoodles" of favorite animals, wrote creative stories about zoo adventures, and more!

You can explore the Bronx Zoo too! Click the picture below to begin your virTual visit!

MRS. MAIER OFFERS MINDFUL MOMENT

Mrs. Maier has been producing and sharing mindful moments for students and families as part of a Boonton Public Schools mindfulness initiative. This week, she offers insight as to how we can S.T.O.P. during stressful times to breathe, relax, and respond in the best way we can.

VIRTUAL FIELD DAY SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 1st

One of our schools most fun-filled days is field day, and despite the fact that we can't host this event as we normally we would, we want to make sure that students still have a special field day offering to look forward to. So mark the calendar! Monday, June 1st we will be offering our students a virtual field day!

HAPPY TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK!
