TAKE A HISTORICAL TOUR OF BOONTON, USA!

With everyone spending so much added time indoors, we thought it would be fun to share a virtual historical tour as a way of appreciating our Town of Boonton! This comes in the form of a Kahoot created by Mrs. Crithary that she recently created and shared as part of a Students for Change virtual activity. Over the past few years, Mrs. Crithary and the 7th grade has held a class picnic following a stroll from John Hill School to Grace Lord Park with a stop at the Boonton Historical Society in between. As students and staff enjoyed the sights along the way, it provided an opportunity to wonder what businesses used to be in the area that left behind those tunnels near the river. In light of current circumstances, Mrs. Crithary thought it might be fun to create a game about the history of our small town with a big heart! Students for Change enjoyed the activity via a Google Meet and we hope you enjoy exploring historical Boonton with your family! Click here to access the activity.
