Hello, School Street School Families!

Summer vacation is an awesome time to relax, refresh, and play! However, studies show that students lose months of reading and math skills over summer vacation. Just like exercising keeps muscles in shape, reading keeps the brain in shape. If you don't exercise, you lose muscle, and if you don't read, you will lose literacy skills.  

This website provides our families with suggested activities to keep the brain working during the dog days of summer.  The activities provided at each grade level are completely optional.  

Reading is STRONGLY SUGGESTED!
