Arrival Procedures

IMPORTANT: All students joining us in the building must complete the COVID-19 Health Screening Form PRIOR to leaving home. It can be completed by logging into the Realtime Parent or Student Portal.

• Boonton High School doors open at 7:20 AM

  • • Students can only enter through the rear of the building. Entrance will not be allowed through the main doors. Entrance locations are as follows:

      • • Grade 9 students will enter the building via the side cafeteria door (to the right when looking at the building).

        • Grade 10 students will enter the building via the double doors near the picnic area.

        • Grade 11 students will enter the building via the double doors near the auditorium.

        • Grade 12 students will enter the building via the double doors near the gymnasium.

• Upon arrival, all students will scan their student ID card and receive verification that the Covid-19 Health Screening Form has been completed.

  • • All students will be given their ID card on their first day of school.

    • Students will only receive one (1) ID card; therefore, it is extremely important to keep it in a safe place and bring it with them on a daily basis.

• Upon verification that Covid-19 Health Screening Form has been completed and there are no indicated concerns, each student will progress to her/his first block class.

• Should a child arrive late to school, he/she will have to buzz in the FRONT DOOR of the building, at which point we will verify that the Daily COVID Questionnaire has been completed.

Dismissal Procedures

• Student dismissal will occur at 2:25 PM for all students.

  • • All students are required to leave through the rear of the building.
