Officers

Parliamentarian

The parliamentarian advises the PTA board of directors and members on matters of parliamentary procedure, and serves as a consultant to the chair in meetings.

VP Programs

The vice-president of programs leads the charge for Boone PTA’s community events throughout the school year (like Family Game Night and Movie Night), as well as planning Staff Appreciation Week and teacher luncheons throughout the year.

Student Enrichment Chair

The student enrichment chair leads a committee to execute student enrichment events and activities throughout the school year. Last year, the PTA held STEM Day to bring parent volunteers into the school to do interactive STEM activities with every grade level. PTA also brought an anti-bullying program to the school for a performance, donated books to the school for literacy night, and supplied teachers with reimbursements for classroom materials.

5th Grade Chair

The 5th Grade chair will establish a committee to carry out their duties. They are responsible for planning the graduation ceremony and reception, as well as the end-of-year party for 5th graders, in coordination with 5th grade teachers and principal. They will work with the president and treasurer to determine a budget for these events.
