At RCHS, we believe that scheduling is a collaborative and thoughtful process involving students, teachers, and parents working together. This partnership ensures that each student’s individual interests, strengths, and potential career pathways are carefully explored. Through self-reflection and guidance, students will develop a well-rounded, personalized schedule that aligns with their academic goals and future aspirations for the upcoming school year.
Schedule Changes
Schedule changes will not be permitted once schedules are distributed. The only exceptions to this are:
1) If you were scheduled for an elective that you did not put in your elective or alternate list
2) If you have already taken and passed a class and you are scheduled for it again
3) If you did not get a class you need to graduate
4) You do not have the pre-requisites for the course you were given
There will be no schedule changes to request specific teachers, class periods, lunch periods, or to change out of AP courses. After scheduling conferences in February last year, all CORE (Required) courses were set in stone.
