*****Double reeds are more expensive than single reeds (like clarinet and saxophone). Because of this we want to make sure that the students are playing on good quality, handmade reeds. Store bought reeds are machine made and will note give the students the best quality playing experience. Since double reeds are more expensive we only ask that bassoon players have 2 good reeds at all times.
