Membership Recruitment
Membership Recruitment
The Boone HS FCCLA chapter worked hard to promote FCCLA and recruit members this year.
Examples of recruitment include:
-Posted flyers around school, inviting students to meetings and events.
-Created a website to promote the work students are doing.
-Created a Facebook page to share events with the community.
-Created an Instagram page to keep students up to date and to recognize members for their achievements.
-Presented to FCS classes at the high school (members also have plans to present to 8th graders in May).
-Presented to the CTE Advisory Board, school board members, and local business partners.
-Served lunch to local business partners and shared a student's Chapter in Review project.
-Community wide events including Pack the Gym Night and Winter Wonderland that involved all ages of community members where students got to share what FCCLA is while also hosting fun events to get community engaged with school.
-Members helped plan a Self Care Day where students got to engage in activities to promote positive mental health.
Most recently, our students that competed at State Leadership Conference were recognized via social media posts.
For "Member Monday" during FCCLA week, students were encouraged to stop by the FCS room for a treat. We love sharing the awesome things our students do!

Students presented about FCCLA to CTE Advisory Board, school board members, & business partners in our community.
Students served lunch to local business partners. One student's Chapter in Review Display was up for partners to check out and learn more about FCCLA. It was a great networking opportunity for our students.
So many FCCLA members (not all pictured here) showed up to serve at our Winter Wonderland event. Students hosted activities for families in our community to enjoy a night out (at school). Our community gave them raving reviews and students plan to host this event again next year.
Students participating in self care and learning about how great flowers can be for your mental health.
Our officer team worked hard on our Plan of Work and successfully carried out so many great events and activities this year. They especially enjoyed being recognized and recognizing other members with treats.
Flyers to remind students about meetings, promote FCCLA, all of our events and more can often be found around our school and on our social media pages.
