Booker Methodist has deep roots within the community and has been a part of this community since Rev. Charles E. Ferguson was appointed in 1923 and for over 100 years Methodists have continued to serve the Booker community in a variety of ways. In 2023 Booker left the United Methodist plurality and we are now affiliated exclusively with the Global Methodist Church. We are made up of everyday panhandle residents from every walk of life who are committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly. We believe the Church is not a building, but us. So, come on down and join us in worship. Everyone is welcome.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
