For Japanese Head Spa:

• Please wear comfortable clothing. 

• Hair does not need to be prewashed before. 

• For services that include face mask and/or heated eye mask, please make sure your face is clean with no moisturizers, serums or make up applied and no artificial lashes. This is to ensure that the ingredients of the sheet face mask do absorb into your skin. Some sheet face masks may affect the adhesive of the artificial lashes. If you have artificial lashes, the face mask and/or heated eye mask will not be applied, but you will be provided with the sheet mask to take home.

• If your hair has been coloured (including highlights and balayage) or permed within 2 weeks of your appointment, please reschedule. The colour or perm needs at least 2 weeks to set into your hair. If the head spa service is done before it gets a chance to set, it is very likely that your perm or colour will wash out.

• Note that head spa service may cause minimal fading to colour treatments even after the 2 week wait period. Fading that occurs will not be any more than usual fading caused my routine hair washing at home. It is important to indicate in the Client Intake Form that you have colour or perm. If indicated, the clarifying serum or shampoo will not be used and shampoo for colour-treated hair or curly hair will be used.
