2026 End of Year Events

Fifth Grade Music Performance

• Join the 5th Graders for one last concert at 7:00 PM on May 19.

Chalk the Wall

• A beloved tradition, families will write each 5th grader's name on the wall the last week of school. Tentatively scheduled for June 9.

End of Year Party

• This incredible event will run from 11:55-2:55 on June 10 and will take place on the field and undercover area. Yearbook signing, Kona Ice, inflatables, a slideshow, and an epic surprise to finish it off. Volunteer support will be needed, so please mark your calendars!

Staff and Student Breakfast

• This special tradition is a way for students to say goodbye and thank you to all of their Bonny Slope teachers from over the years. Doors will open at 7:40AM on June 11, the last day of school. We'll be serving pastries and fruit on the playground during Morning Mix. Breakfast is for 5th graders and staff only.

Talent Show

• The final assembly of the year will feature the 5th Grade Talent Show at 8:40 AM on June 11. Students MUST submit a video recording of their prepared act to Ms. Bourquein (clare_bourquein@beaverton.k12.or.us) by Monday, May 18. Acts should be no more than two minutes in length. 

• Rehearsal will take place on Tuesday, June 9 from 3:00-5:00 PM. 

• Families are welcome to attend the Talent Show at the assembly. 

Field Games with the Teachers

• The teachers are planning a fun final afternoon of kickball and field games on June 11 from 1:00-2:00 PM. Parents will be invited to join. Further details coming soon!

Clap Out

• The school day ends with the clap out as the 5th graders walk the halls a final time. Parents will meet students outside to finish the clap out.
