Welcome to Bonny Eagle High School Golf

At Bonny Eagle High School, we utilize a “ONE TEAM” concept, where we combine varsity and junior varsity golf into one team, and select players to play in matches via their performance and golf scoring average.

1. We  want to create a competitive environment where golfers ultimately control their own destiny. We don’t want to pigeon-hole golfers into a varsity or a junior varsity role with little hope of moving up. 

2. The pre-season scoring averages will be used to make the initial placements of players for the first matches. After that, placement in matches is determined by performance and golf scoring average. At times, it can be less than one tenth of a shot that separates players. 

3. We need to prepare this year’s golfers for the States, and develop the best possible team that we can.  And, at the same time, we need to prepare underclassmen to compete for next year’s States.
