About Mr. Jones
Ask anyone to name their least favorite subject in school, and you can bet the answer is "mathematics," (even though we all know chemistry is the worst, sorry Mr. Mason) which is what inspired me to become a math teacher; If I can help students develop confidence in their mathematical abilities, then I can most directly improve their school experience.
I am excited to be back in the classroom, working alongside students to make sense of this thing we call "algebra." After five years spent teaching at Golden Sierra, I have found this school to be, without a doubt, the most close-knit and welcoming place to develop my teaching abilities that I hope to carry with me throughout my career.
When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my son, Cosmo, woodworking, and playing video games. Someday, when Cosmo is a bit older, I look forward to traveling abroad with him and my wife.
