About Me
Hello!
I am Roger Saunders and I teach English here at Golden Sierra High School. This includes Junior and Senior English, Creative Writing, AP English Language, and AP English Literature.
With about 30 years of Education Experience, including Technical Education for Companies including NewGeneration Software, Cisco Systems, and Verizon Wireless, I find myself in my 8th year of teaching school and happily discovering that these are the best years of my career.
While coaching Women's Varsity Basketball this year is going to be a blast, I also get to contribute to Track and Field. This will prove to be an incredible adventure.
Scottish Heavy Athletics is a fun sport that I commit time to where I am currently a Judge and former three-time North American Highland Games Champion.
Finally, and much to my great joy, I am a grandfather of 12 with two more coming soon!
