The hairstyle for all routines, except ballet, in the Primary/Junior show is slick high pony tail. Any hairpieces, as a rule of thumb, usually go on the child's left side - these will be handed out on the day so please pack some extra bobby pins. Ballet students will have a high ballet bun - students who are in more than one routine, please check which routine you have first and bring hair supplies with you so that teachers/volunteers can help you change your hair.
We have volunteers and older dancers backstage who can help your dancer with their hair piece should you need, please pack the following in your dancer's bag:
bobby pins
elastic bands that are the same colour as your dancer's hair
gel
comb and brush
You do not have to use hair donuts like shown in the video - you can just twist your buns if you would prefer or if your child does not have much hair.
Our male dancers do not require any make up.
Please come tidy with hair pulled back out of the face (gel is good for this).
