Who are we? Bolton Music Works!
What are we? A parent run non-profit organization (501(c)3).
What do we do? Bolton Music Works supports the music programs at Bolton High School as well as Bolton Center School to enhance the children’s music experience. This includes helping to defer the cost of music field trips, providing “extras” like t-shirts, snacks, and food for students, organizing fundraisers so that students can personally earn money, like an individual savings account, to offset the cost of going on large music department trips, and anything else our music teachers feel will enrich the music program. We also organize community events, like the Color Run and coffeehouse performances.
How do I join and what is required of members? A Bass Clef Membership is $10 and a Treble Clef Membership is $50 and entitles you to 2 reserved seats at all Bolton Music performances. Just fill out the attached form and return it to the office at your student’s school. Becoming a member does not require you to attend meetings or volunteer. If you would like to volunteer your time, we meet once every 6-8 weeks for one hour with a hiatus during summer break. We also help at performances and sell concessions at Bolton High School concerts.
How do I contact your organization? Bolton Music Works can be found on Facebook. You may also reach us through your student’s music teacher or via email at boltonmusicworksct@gmail.com.
