1 Checklist and Overview

Before beginning:

You will be working with your team to create a safety slideshow.

• First, you need to think up a team name and an idea for a team logo.
• Then someone needs to create a Google folder that is shared with everyone in your team.
• Next, WITHIN that folder, someone should create a new Google Slide.
• Also, WITHIN that folder, you will create a new Google Drawing and create a logo.
• Once you are done with your logo, click File, Publish to Web and then copy that url.
• Next, one person should go back to your Google slide and go to Slide, Edit Master, click on the master slide and choose Insert...Image..by url. Paste the url of your logo and position in one of the corners.

Checklist

1. Get a copy of the white AND orange Safety Contracts.

2. Preview The Bolivar Way sample,

3. Watch the introductory video so you understand what is meant by IF/THEN.

3. Watch the next video which will help you set up the beginning of your story. Your teacher will assign you a lab scenario.

8. Watch the other two videos on the Designing My Story page.

9. Create your Safety slideshow.

10. When you are done choose File, Publish to the Web and copy the url and share it on the Padlet that is linked on the Sharing On Padlet page .

11. Preview peer projects by clicking on one on the padlet and choosing to present.

12. Take the safety quiz!

13. Embed the project on your ePortfolio.
