Begin compiling your TRILL submission draft following these guidelines. You've already worked on sections 2-5 of the guidelines, and you are not required to have an abstract (section 1), so the only additional information you'll need for the draft is a response to section 6. After Week 3's discussion, we hope you have a better sense of how to revise any "not applicable" responses you may have had for the HOW section.
In addition to the reflection in your submission draft (item 6 in the guidelines), we'd like you to write a short (max 400 words) reflection.
Reflect on the workshop and on the process of writing up your TRILL submission using the guidelines. As a starting point, we'd like you to address the following prompts:
About your submission:
What did you find challenging about writing your narrative?
What aspect of your submission would you like the most feedback on?
About the TRILL Guidelines:
What aspect of the guidelines did you find most helpful?
What additional guidance or prompts would you find useful in the guidelines?
What suggestions do you have for revising the guidelines?
We encourage you to start your homework early so that you can take advantage of the drop-in sessions next week. As you encounter any challenges or questions, we welcome you to attend any (or all!) of the three sessions. You should have received a calendar invite with the Zoom link emailed to you.
Tuesday, July 30: 11am-noon Eastern Time
Wednesday, July 31: 1-2 pm Eastern Time
Thursday, August 1: 4-5 pm Eastern Time
During week 5's session, we will be reviewing each other's submissions. To submit your finalized TRILL Submission for peer feedback, please complete the following tasks at least 24 hours prior to your Week 5 synchronous session:
We have placed a "Week 5 Submission Draft" folder inside your personal folder. Inside the folder, please upload:
Your reflection (item 3 above; save your file as “LastName CohortDay Week5 Reflection” (e.g. Hiramatsu Tuesday Week5 Reflection). Please address the following prompts in your reflection:
