About the Team

The HCRI fosters interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration to build connected, thriving, resilient communities. We bring together a wide variety of disciplinary expertise from the university and from stakeholders across the public and private sector to address what is fundamentally a multidisciplinary problem – how do we promote safety, security, economic stability, and resilient communities in the face of chronic community stresses and natural and man-made threats, especially considering population growth and climate change? We engage in a wide range of interdisciplinary, community-engaged and solutions-oriented risk and resilience projects and education efforts.
