Sensors: This is the place to find information about infraBSU and Gem sensors (refer to subpages). If you are interested in infraBSU infrasound solutions (MEMS-based analog output transducer) for single stations or arrays please feel free to reach out to jeffreybjohnson at boisestate.edu. If you want more information about the Gem, an all-in-one GPS time-synced digitized infrasound data acquisition solution, please talk to jacobanderson152 at boisestate.edu. Quotes and more information are available upon request. Attributes of these sensors are summarized in a recent (October 2021) independently-published U.S. Department of Energy technical report.
Please note that our laboratory at BSU is not a business or trade. Instead, our goal is to help promote infrasound research through dissemination of low cost, calibrated infrasound sensors and to grow our community. Provision of sensors to individuals is infrequent and selective and based upon materials and supplies that are available. Costs are calculated to cover material and construction in the infraBSU lab at Boise State University. There is no profit motive in this operation.
