Substituting

• • In order to be placed as an Apprentice Teacher, you must "apply" to your hosting district. Please follow the directions that were emailed to you by the district's student teacher coordinator.

  • Once this process is complete, you will be eligible to receive an ID badge from your district and authorized to substitute for your mentor teacher.

  • You are allowed to substitute for your mentor teacher a maximum of five times over the course of the semester. If you are being asked to substitute more than that (or for a different teacher), please talk to your Master Teacher Liaison.
