Yasmin Wadhwani

Laboratory Manager

Yasmin grew up exploring the amazing mountains of Washington state, spending her days exploring, hiking, skiing, and horse back riding across the state. She went on to ski competitively for the University of California, Davis, and there she received her bachelor's degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and minor in Political Science. During her degree, Yasmin found a passion for field work and began studying climate change variation in Brassicaceae. After several seasons of field work in desert environments spanning California and Idaho, she sought out to join a crew specializing in snow research so she could combine her love for snow and for research. She has joined our team as laboratory manager. New to the Boise area, she spends her time playing with her pets, skiing, hiking, and exploring Boise.
