Ibrahim Alabi

Ph.D. Candidate in Computing

Ibrahim Alabi is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Computing Ph.D. program (Data Science Emphasis) at Boise State University. His doctoral research revolves around the use of Machine Learning to improve snow products. Specifically, his research is focused on using Machine Learning approaches to predict the amount of water stored in the seasonal snowpack. Prior to starting his doctoral studies, Ibrahim worked as a data analyst and as a data analysis instructor at Zacrac Integrated Limited. Ibrahim holds a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences for Climate Resilience from the African Institute for Mathematical Science, Rwanda. He studied the dynamics of energy production under climate conditions with the use of Statistical Machine Learning approaches.
