Honor Youth Brass Band

Working alongside the musical leadership of the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley, the YBBTV is an auditioned-ensemble that aspires to inspire young brass and percussion musicians in our community, offering them a unique opportunity to grow and flourish in the traditional British Brass Band setting under the batons of Brittany Brings and Jeff Paradis. This opportunity is open to musicians who are 14-20 years old.

Auditions


Auditions are the first step in becoming a part of this ensemble. We have scheduled three audition dates for your convenience:

Auditions will be live and in-person and will include a brief sight-reading excerpt.

Information


Rehearsals:

The YBBTV rehearsal schedule is as follows. All rehearsals will take place from 7:00 – 9:00 PM:

We will culminate our season with a performance at the Brass Band Experience Week, which runs in the evenings from April 29th to May 2nd.

Tuition:

If accepted into the Youth Brass Band of the Treasure Valley, the semester’s tuition is $175.00. To secure an audition spot, a $40.00 deposit is required. The deposit will be applied to tuition upon acceptance or returned if the musician is not accepted. If a position in the ensemble is offered but declined, the deposit will be forfeited to the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley.
