Whitney Family Book Club

Dear Whitney Families,

We are so excited to start our first ever school wide book club! Our entire staff will join families as we read this wonderful book. This year’s school-wide book club will feature: 

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Here is how the book club works: 

• Each family will receive a copy of the book. 

• Families will follow the schedule and read or listen together each night.  

• Teachers will be incorporating fun activities into their classrooms throughout the month.

Our staff has been busy recording audio for each day’s reading. Be sure to check out our website for audio recordings of each day and the reading calendar.

 When a child is read to at home, it helps them become better readers.  It is also a worthwhile, fun family activity. We are so excited to have everyone united together to read this amazing book.
