Concert Dress

Performers are required to wear:

• Solid Black on bottom

  • Please note that we play on an elevated stage and are expected to play with feet sholder-width apart when choosing to wear a skirt.

• Solid White on top

  • Cream is not white, it looks dirty under our lights.

• Please refrain from wearing hats, ties, and/or shiny things that might distract from attention being paid to the music.

Jazz Band

Jazz Band is open to students in 7th-9th Grade at South. We meet daily from 7-7:42 am. Students interested in jazz band are expected to play in the appropriate concert ensemble. That means wind and percussion students are expected to be in band and string students are expect to be in orchestra.
